I am a Media Communications student pursuing Marketing. This Journal covers all three of my experiences, whereas my Reflective Report focuses on my role with RFS as my first professional experience, and Presentation on IH due to its visual nature

- Richmond Furniture Scheme (RFS) in Marketing and Social Media
- Introverts’ Home Community (IH) as a Marketing & Events Coordinator
1. Richmond Furniture Scheme:
A furniture reuse charity which focuses on protecting the environment, making homes by providing affordable furniture to those who need it, and building community through a variety of volunteering opportunities (including: warehouse customer support, workshop upcycling and reparations etc.). Requires:
- Liaising across departments (i.e. those in the workshop and warehouse), content creation, ideation, Canva usage, communication, event attendance, editing (Edits, TikTok, CapCut)
2. Introverts’ Home
A creative, social community (found on Instagram & Eventbrite), which holds small low-pressure events, specifically with introverts in mind. They collaborate with other communities to bring people both audiences together. The founder of this community is away in Tokyo (also hosting IH events there), and has tasked me to take over as an event host and in marketing, alongside her overseas support. I will also be supported by another event volunteer as my cohost. Requires:
- Event planning, content creation, ideation, communication, outreach, editing (CapCut, TikTok, Edits), event hosting
Aims:
- Providing marketing advice and ideas
- Growing their social media by increasing views, followers and customers/event attendees
- Regularly posting
- Expanding channels, like through use of TikTok
3. ACP Course
- Spent one week learning about Premiere Pro, organising video files, editing techiques and shortcuts, finishing with an exam
